Welcome to the new site. Look around, all the same content is here plus a little more. The site will always carry Project Zodiac as it was such a big part of our lives (even though it took up such a small sliver of actual time) and we will never forget it. But we will be adding pages and posts as time goes on.

God keep you brother, until we meet again.

God keep you brother, until we meet again.

Since May of 2003, the work has progressed on the Zodiac with little breaks here and there. Some longer than others, but the work was never far in the back of anyone’s mind. The log reflects this and some entries are short, sweet and to the point. Dennis and Kirk did the majority of the work on the plane and she was solid.

She flew like a dream according to Kirk, although a little sensitive to the touch. She was easy to get used to. Most of us never got to fly with her. Being “experimental” she needed 40 hours in the air before anyone but Kirk could fly. With less than 20 hours, wind gusts in the wrong place at the wrong time, brought her down on March 3, 2009. Our dear husband, father, son and brother, Kirk went down with her.
He will be sorely missed, but we know that we will see him again in the next life.

    We love you Kirk.
